IH Sabadell, founded in 1971, has twelve teachers. It occupies two interconnecting houses in the centre of town, has 16 classrooms, a teachers' room, a materials room, bar, a Self-Access library, an Internet room, a large club area and a patio. All levels and ages are taught, from absolute beginners to Proficiency. English, French and German are the languages currently being taught. Nearly half the students are under 18, and teachers of English can expect to have at least two classes of younger learners.

ESP courses are growing in number, particularly Business English. Many of these courses are with small groups or one-to-one and they often take place off the school premises. Experienced teachers can expect to have at least one class of this sort.

Most courses follow the standard nine-month academic year from October to June. We have also recently introduced courses from January to December (excluding August), January to September (excluding August) and January to June semi-intensives. We also offer intensive summer courses in the months of July and September. The school is closed during the month of August. Teachers with sufficient experience can apply to follow the Cambridge/RSA DELTA course at International House Trafalgar (Barcelona). On site we offer the IHCYL.
