CLASSES
This position includes teaching the following levels and age groups in an afternoon schedule from Monday through Friday:
2 classes of Tubbies
(5-6 year olds)
4 classes of Kids 1
(7-8 year olds)
1 class of Junior 1
(10-11 year olds)
1 class of Junior 4
(12-14 year olds)
1 class of FCE
(16-18 years old)
1 mini-group of Adult 2
(Strong elementary)
1 one-to-one private
conversation class
Besides internal and external teacher training seminars, we also have class planning meetings and a peer observation program as well as formal observations throughout the year. New teachers will be assigned a mentor to help them through the first months.
Teachers can also sign up for one hour per week of free Spanish classes at the school.

The post involves a 22.5 hour teaching timetable mainly teaching children and adolescents in groups of up to 10 students.
Salary includes approximately ½ hour preparation time per contact hour. One and a half hour meetings on Friday mornings are part of the contract and are used for teachers' meetings, training sessions and in-service teacher development sessions.
Teachers also have weekly half-hour individual meetings to discuss specific problems in classes, etc. Student reports must be carefully completed every two months. In total, including teaching, preparation of classes, writing student reports, correcting exams and projects and attending meetings, a full time teacher will work a minimum of 38 hours per week.
Teachers receive approximately two weeks holiday at Christmas, 1 week at Easter and 3 days during the local fair. We also observe all official local, regional and national holidays. Teachers are provided with a legal contract and general health coverage according to Spanish law.
Requirements
Candidate should be native English speakers with a university degree, a recognized TEFL qualification and one year of previous experience in a similar context, preferably in Spain.
Experience in teaching children and adolescents is essential.
We are looking for someone who truly enjoys teaching these age groups. Higher qualifications and experience with Trinity and Cambridge exams is a plus.
